Frenchman Coulee, Eastern Washington.
A unique formation of basalt pillars encircling open ground. Very few, if any, images can be found of this. The few I did find were simply pictures taken with a point-and-shoot of some rock climbing. This coulee is a very massive one heading west towards the Columbia River. I was originally down here to shoot a fire, but when I realised all the flames were out I decided to head here instead. The lighting wasn't perfect, but you don't always get what you want. Enjoy!
