First of all, I'm not the exactly the best guy to be assigning stars to photographs, I dislike that kind of evaluation.
Anyway, I'd like to leave a few notes regarding your photograph. About the sky highlight, I find it really interesting. It's not burned at all, it has color, and it is smooth, the way it should be. I like the way the sea colors were preserved, as well as the rocks' reflection colors.
This is a very common photograph, but you have done a great job capturing the sea movement. At the right side we can clearly see the power of the water, and that instantly caught my attention. In another hand, and the only thing I dislike here, is the smoothness of the rocks. Rocks are supposed to be solid and strong. I'd prefer seeing contrast of smoothness between the rocks and the sea instead of seeing everything without no detail at all.
There is Lots to shoot around there But im sure you know that and you can always head North! Lots of Beaches up here to.. Just lots more Rocks and Not as many Sandy Beaches for the Ladies!
Oh there are some Great Places Up in OR and WA ! ! ! The cost line from Brookings OR all the way to Portland is AMAZING! and then is smooths back out a bit in the Washington area is is just Beautiful!! Have you made it over to the Point Buchon Trail On the Central Coast?? I hope to get there soon.. Its AWESOME LOOKING!
I've never been to the coast in Oregon, just the east part of the state; but just from Marc Adamus' images it looks mindblowing. I've been planning some trips though to get up there more. I still have so much coastline to explore in central California too. Mt. Shasta is also one I'm looking at.
Im about 90 minutes east of SF in Sacramento and have lived here all my life and made my way down to a larger part of the central coast from Carmel north to the lower part of Oregon. I have done some travel and photography past those points but not as much as i do in that stretch of Ocean. I go north to Crescent City a lot and drive through Mt Shasta Often to see Friends.. and I love it up there. California just has So Much To See! I hope you make it to those places because I cant wait to see your Shots!

Thanks. Keep up the great work!
