Dream of Me by Jordan-Roberts Dream of Me by Jordan-Roberts
Jordan Roberts Photography
Columbia Hills, Eastern Washington

I feel bad because I ran into Marc Adamus a couple days before this shot. He was leading a workshop from the west side and the conditions really fizzled out. However, his predictions for this day were spot on. As we were talking about workshops, he was telling me the hardest part of photography for people to understand is not taking the photo, but rather applying yourself to the image. Which, is very true. This shot however is not too far off from the original. Perhaps I should post the original for a side-by-side comparison.

This was some of the best lighting I've had in a very long time. Maybe not the best sunset, but lighting. I enjoy watching all the photographers that visit this location every night while in full bloom. It was really windy in this shot as well so I had to blend as best I could the lupin I caught in between gusts. Hope you enjoy!

Wow the colours are really awesome in this shot. I love the effect of prospective that you gave to this, can I ask you how did you do it? Is it a camera effect,or you applied this effect with some editing program?

Hey thanks! I apologize though, I'm not sure what your question is. When you say "perspective" are you referring to how I got my composition? Or are you asking how I achieved the light I got?

Yeah I mean perspective sorry. This photo gives the effect like if I am really watching, because the violet flowers seem really near but then the other things, like the tree and the sun look really far. It's like perspective :)
