As I Watched It End by Jordan-Roberts As I Watched It End by Jordan-Roberts
Jordan Roberts Photography
The Grand Coulee, Eastern WA.

I have been waiting for an image like this for a long time now. An unbelievable sunset over the Grand Coulee. Sunsets like this aren't too uncommon this time of year with stormy weather. I can't help but imagine this is what it'll look like when it all ends....

The colors are so vivid. It looks more like a sunrise than a sunset. Excellent work!

I'm always surprised that there are deserts in Washington and Oregon ! Must visit someday ~ great shot !

Thank you! And it's very true. However, after living here it doesn't feel like a traditional desert. I wouldn't compare it to the Mojave desert or something. It's more of a grassland that doesn't see a lot of rain lol

are you disappointed in the lack of desertyness ? . . . not exactly the Sahara eh ? -- I think there's something like the John Day fossil beds or something ..( maybe in Oregon ? ). . . . . guess I'll stick with the southwestern deserts for now ! :)
